Land Survey

A Sunday afternoon with some decent weather for a change has given me the opportunity to do a little surveying of the garden. I'll admit now that most of the garden developments over the last year or so have been done with the railway in mind, so there are already a number of areas where cuttings and curves have been planned. The current plan is to construct a full single track circuit of the garden, with a passing loop (picture Outside 2) and a station (picture Outside 3). This will keep the number of points outside to a minimum, possibly only four will be required. I currently have absolutely no idea how the standard Peco points will enjoy the vagaries of the British weather - nor am I looking forward to attempting to wire up said points as live frog... there are already enough live frogs hanging around the pond...
